Enter the head office of Heisterkamp and you will be immediately greeted by our reception staff: Ellen and Sandra. There is no one who knows more about the ins and outs of Heisterkamp than these two ladies. This week they tell about who they are and what they do. Spoiler alert: this is more than you expect.
"We are Ellen and Sandra. We have both been working at Heisterkamp for many years. Ellen has been working here for almost 8 years now and Sandra joined Heisterkamp 24 years ago. Our daily work mainly consists of handling all incoming telephone calls. We do this both for the Netherlands and partly for our branch in Travemünde. As a result, German and English are frequently used languages. In addition, we receive guests and refer them.
In addition to handling phone calls and helping visitors, we are dealing with a part of the administration. We handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages and we deal with the incoming invoice flow, both digitally and by mail. In addition, we both have a number of our own tasks.
Because Heisterkamp has branches in many countries and therefore has built up a lot of brand awareness, we come into contact with a variety of people on a daily basis. This means that even though we are alone at the reception, we never 'feel lonely'. It ensures that we have a very nice function within a company that is always in motion. We are also very lucky in terms of workplace. Last year our reception was transformed into a super modern and very representative workplace. Something that we are very happy with and where it’s good to work.
