We will shortly say goodbye to the familiar Carrierweb and move to our new Customer Portal. The reason for launching the Customer Portal is the fact that we are transferring to a new type of on-board computer. We expect to realise the changeover of our fleet in the final two weeks of 2017. As from that time, trucks can no longer be tracked in Carrierweb.
We are presently running a test in which some forty vehicles have already been equipped with the new on-board computer. One or more of these trucks may be deployed to service you. In that case, the cars concerned will only be visible in the Customer Portal. Trucks with the old on-board computer are also visible in the Customer Portal. So, you may want to decide to already switch to using the new Customer Portal. Your Heisterkamp contact will inform you when a truck is deployed that is fitted with the new type on-board computer.
